An old fella once told me how he used to "make do" during the Korean war, up on the front lines fixing the Jeeps, welding the exhausts using coat hangers as welding rods.
This always stuck with me..
Living an hour away from the parts store I try to employ the same mentality when faced with a problem. Instead of "Where can I buy one?", its more like "How can I make one?" or "What can I use instead?".
I just like to think its another way of sticking it to the man..
Lets face it, "if "or should I say "when" the shit hits the fan, where are you going to get your parts.....???
